What are you going to do in order studying writing successfully.



Talking about English language, usually when we are looking people who are speaking fluently, so will judge them good in English. Being a good person in writing cannot say only good in writing, but also good in reading. Talking about speaking, we are not have to use good grammar. But, we just make our partner understand about what we are talking. On the other hand, talking about writing, we have to use good grammar. Such as, structures of sentences, spells of words, relation  an idea and supporting details , and punctuation. So, improving my writing be better, i will do these steps. Such as, read more, practice more, and write writing continue or do it continues
Read more, it will be useful in our writing. Because we get information and knowledge  by reading. Back to” what is writing”? Writing is a process to devote everything knowledge and information in our mind on the papers.  So, more we read, have much knowledge we are, then, make us easy in writing. In addition, if we often read, so we have become accustomed at sentences, words or vocabulary, and spells of the words. It make us not poor in ideas. Then when we are writing, we will write a writing easily, clearly and fluently. Exactly, getting knowledge and information, it is not only in fiction books. But also in non fiction books. Such as novels, magazines, comics, and the others. So reading is very important to increase our writing.
Then, practice more. If we just read, but  do not do what we have read or write it again. So, it is have not meaningful at all. It will have meaning full, after read, then write it again. Writing  can practicable not only on papers, but also in social media such as, bbm, fb, twitter and etc. Writing should not start in big thing. Moreover start it in hard and difficult thing. But you can start it in easy and fun things. Such as make what are thinking about, in fb, bbm, or and the others  media social. For example ,  we are feeling disappointed at our friends. That enough for us to write in our social media “disappointed”. So your friends who  are looking your status, they will give  comment and suggestion. Such as, “do you disappointed at me? I’m really sorry,, or patiently, or may poor you”. So, will get knowledge, from our friends ‘s writing. One day, if our friend write status that sad expression. We can give comment that have gotten by our friend before. Next, when we have been accustomed practice in small thing, we should move on middle thing. Such as, writing in our diary or blog. We can write our experience in our diary . if our skill is good in middle thing, we can move on big thing. Starting  by write a short story, a story telling, a long story. So, we can write novels easily. The last, do writing continue. If we have been good writing skill , we have to do it continue to develo

The benefits of studying writing





Writing is very useful. Almost everything we use writing. Especially in social media. Such as bbm, fb, twitter, and etc. Exactly, we are not only can find writing in social media, but also in non social media. Such as, magazines, novels and etc.
If we want to improve our knowledge, remember what we have done, easy to get a job, and easy socialization with society, so we have to write.
Writing can improve our knowledge. So, it can also increase our information. We get knowledge through reading, doing something, looking event that ever happened and other. So to improve our knowledge, we have to write about what we have got to social media or non social media. Then ask our friends to give suggestion and correction about our writing to make it be better. In contrast, if we have good knowledge by our perception, but we were not want to share it by writing, moreover published it in social media or non social media. So, we do not know about our knowledge quality, exactly. We will think, our knowledge is better then others. Actually,  we can not improve  our knowledge because nobody know about our knowledge. So how can them give additional information or correct our writing while they do not know about it. So writing can make our knowledge be better.
Writing make us remember what we have done. Sometimes, we forget about sweet memorize that very important in our life. It caused by we did not write the meaning full of memorize. If we write event that happened in our daily to a diary or memo, so we will not forget about it. We always remember it. For example, we have ever been the best in competition that very famous. Such as, we got the first champion in Indonesian English competition. Then, we got a goblet, a certificate, and scholarship for our college. Amazing! How lucky we are. Then this moment we write in our diary. So, if we have been old at sixty five years old, we open our diary again, so we will remember about the best moment that have ever happened in our life.
Writing make us easy to get a job. Everybody needs a job in their life that use to complete everything in their daily. Getting a job, we have to complete all of requirement that needed in a job.  One of them is application letter. We have to write it as the important necessary to get  a job. Writing is not only to get a job, but it is also use in daily job. Such as make the proposal that use to meet at clients, ask donation and others. For example, we have a good writing skill. So, it is easy for us to write proposal that  we useful to lend donation which useful in our business company. Exactly writing is not only useful to a proposal. But also use to make report our daily job. If our report is good and clear, so it is easy for us to get the best degree.
Writing is easy for us to socialization with society. not all of people can do socialization  with society well. Just little of them can do it. They are people that have been successfully in their life. Getting success in this life  is not easy, but need hard working. One of their hard working is writing. Before we graduation in a college successfully, we have to write skripsi as important requirement. After graduate, we want to get a job. Getting it, we have to write application letter. In our daily working we have to write report clearly and well in orders to get the best degree. If we are this position, it is easy for us to socialization with society. For example , we are a regent in a regency. It is not difficult for us to give suggestion or instruction to society where we are working. It is caused by writing.  So, writing is very import in our life and society.





Experience during studying writing one



Writing is a process to make something that we remember in our mind on the papers use hand or typewriter. It is not only on the papers, but it can also be in fb, bbm, twitter, and others social media.  In writing, I can express something that I remember in my mind that cannot I say  directly. In addition, I can remember what I had written in my diary.
Talking about my experience during studying writing in the last semester, I studied with Mr. Sounir and Miss. Fitrawati. These lecturers have different ways in writing teaching.
 Mr. Sounir’s ways has writing the unique ways in teaching. He always asked his students to follow and concentrate about the material which he was explaining. If we did not do it just for a few minute, he got angry at us. He would say, “what are you doing beauty ladies”? While underestimated us. Then, he said again, “you were missing something important”.  Sometime, he just told about another things, not about material. If we did not follow his told about, he would get angry at us also. If he laughs, we should laughs too. If he said yes, we had to say yes. If not, he would underestimate us. He would say, “you do not understand about what I have said, so, you do not say yes or do you know that how funny the story that I have told, so you do not laugh”. In contrast, the unique ways that he did in his class very important. Such as, follow up and concentration about the material. It will make us understand about the material.
Then talking about Mrs. Fitrawati ways. She has the special ways in teaching. She did not ask her students seriously about material. We did not must to follow up what she said. She did not do what Mr. Sounir did. She said that if were studying with her, we could relax and enjoy but sure and understand. She taught us like her friends. Not as a lecturer and her students. So, we were not worry to ask her about what we did not understand. It caused by she as our friends in her teaching.
There was something that still fresh in my mind. When I presented my  descriptive  paragraph in front of class. That time we were studying with Mr. Sounir.  I felt nervous because I was not only explain to my friends but I have to answer every question about what I have presented. One by one question has been answered. It also caused by Mr. Sounir and others friends help me. The last question by Rangga. He ask “why do your paragraph too short? You should add additional information to make  your paragraph longer and more complete”. Then, I said thank you for suggestion, but wrote these paragraph as long as I knew. For the next, I will do it.
Next when studied with Mrs. Fitra. She asked me to read a paragraph that she presented in front of class because the paragraph so clearly from my chair. I was very  ashamed when she said that I read like junior high school students.
On the other hand, I would like to say thank you very much for my writing lecturers that given correction to improve my writing be better. So, before do writing I have to read more and find another information that useful to make my writing be better. Read more not only improve my vocabulary but also make me common at the grammar and spells in writing.

The advantages and disadvantages homework for children in the school




Nowadays, many children have to spend hours every evening by doing homework.  Some people believe that it will help the children in their academic career. However, others feel that homework is mostly useless. This essay will examine the advantages and disadvantages homework for children in the school
Doing homework as an opportunity to involve students in decision-making. One way to judge the quality of a classroom is by the extent to which students participate in making choices about their learning.  The best teachers know that children learn how to make good decisions by making decisions, not by following directions.  Students should have something to say about what they are going to learn and the circumstances under which they will learn it. As well as how and when their learning will be evaluated, how the room will be set up, how conflicts will be resolved, and a lot more.
What is true of education in general is true of homework in particular? At least two investigators have found that the most impressive teachers (as defined by various criteria) tend to involve students in decisions about assignments rather than simply telling them what they will have to do at home.  A reasonable first question for parents to ask upon seeing a homework assignment is “How much did the kids have in determining how this had to be done, and on what schedule, and whether it really needed to be completed at home in the first place?” 
A discussion about whether homework might be useful and can be valuable in its own right.  If opinions are varied the question of what to do when everyone does not agree take a vote?  keep talking until we reach consensus?  look for a compromise? Developing social skills as well as intellectual growth. That growth occurs precisely because the teacher asked rather than told.  Teachers who consult with their students on a regular basis would shake their heads vigorously were you to suggest that kids will always say no to homework  or to anything else that requires effort.  It is not true, they will tell you.  When students are treated with respect, when the assignments are worth doing, most kids relish a challenge. Therefore, students groan about or try to avoid homework.It is generally because they get too much of it, or because it is assigned thoughtlessly and continuously, or simply because they had nothing to say about it.  The benefits of even high-quality assignments are limited if students feel “done to” instead of “worked with.”
 Reduce the amount but do not stop there.  Many parents are understandably upset with how much time their children have to spend on homework.  At least, make sure that teachers are not exceeding district guidelines and that they are not chronically underestimating how long it takes students to complete the assignments.  (As one mother told me, “It is cheating to say this is 20 minutes of homework if only your fastest kid can complete it in that time.”) Then work on reducing the amount of homework irrespective of such guidelines and expectations so that families, not schools, decide how they will spend most of their evenings. Quantity, however, is not the only issue that needs to be addressed. Some assignments, frankly, are not worth even five minutes of a student’s time. Too many first graders are forced to clip words from magazines that begin with a given letter of the alphabet. Too many fifth graders have to color in an endless list of factor pairs on graph paper. Too many eighth graders spend their evenings inching their way through dull, overstuffed, committee written textbooks, one chapter at a time. Teachers should be invited to reflect on whether any given example of homework will help students think deeply about questions that matter. 
On the other hand, homework is a bitter pill for many students. Teachers always give homework. They are given to help students to revise what has been done in the class and also the finish task set in school which the pupil could not finish on time. Education and mastery of knowledge, is a matter of skill so the more practice one has the better skill. There are skill subjects and knowledge subjects. Both these categories require drill and repetition. The teacher, to some extents, drill the student in the class but each individual student cannot be expected to do the same amount as skills of students vary from each other. Homework need not necessarily be repeating what has been done in the class, it may be more study. The student goes through references and acquires more and better knowledge. The world of knowledge is so wide that the class alone cannot bring everything into the grasp of the student. So, the student must take up some initiative of his own. This is one of the purposes of homework. The school also must see that the students are overburdened homework. The teachers must see to it that the homework is distributed evenly throughout the week. Still there are subjects like mathematics or transcription in the lower classes which require daily attention. There are other aspects of school work which can be attended to during the weekend, for example, map making and drawing diagrams. Simply because some students find homework too much to cope up with, it cannot be abolished. The school should provide some facilities, so that the boys can conveniently attend to their homework and the teachers can come willingly forward to help such students.
In conclusion, the need to give homework must be considered carefully. It can be helpful in certain circumstances. However, students and teachers must understand the value and importance of homework future. In my opinion, finding the balance between free time and homework will lead to a happy and successful school experience for our children.
